At first, I had a real predisposition to netbooks because they're so small and it hurts your fingers when you're using it for a while but they are a GOD SEND! My back feels loads better as opposed to lugging around my laptop, notebook and textbooks to class.

Best part is that I didn't pay for it, I got as a gift from my mom. She was like "I want to make sure you succeed in school so you can go to the best law school." Dammit my moms is the best. :'D

But yeah I got a Acer netbook and it's really useful. The only problem is the tiny track pad but that's nothing a USB mouse can solve.

it's busy work.

i got invited to try out for Mock Trial by my Legal Process Professor. which is what the name implies, acting out a case in a kangaroo court setting. we'll see how that goes.

DOESN'T EXISTS. School has pretty much consumed my time. Oh yeah and debate too. So as of now I'm a walking meat sack of a nerd with nothing to talk about but judicial review and the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty.

ANYWAY

HOT TOPIC: SCHOOL

hhhhhhhoooolllyyy fuck now we're cooking. I ♥ all of my classes. Criminology is perhaps the most interesting course I've taken so far because we're actually analyzing why current incarceration methods are not working to decrease crimes rates and instead tripled the jail population.

Constitutional Law and Intro to the Process are like a taste of what's to come for Law School. It takes a lot of reading and I have to do these things called "case briefs" where I summarize a Supreme Court case in a particular format. Definitely challenging but fuck it- gotta work for that JD.

Cross-Cultural Perspectives is...an anthropology class. Basic analysis of cultural anthropology, lots of reading as well.

Haven't been able to geek out besides my school work. Been spending a lot my free time at the library reading for my classes and being more meticulous with my notes. It's definitely not going to be an easy semester.

I have to read a collective 50 pages by tomorrow for my criminology and constitutional law classes.

at least I won't be bored tonight.

Damn I never thought this day will come. School is next week and I have to deal with the dreaded bookstore line. It's the killjoy of the first week of school because that's when Professors like to have mood swings about what books they really want to use in the semester.

My inactivity from these last two week was due to work at Debate Camp. It was a lot of fun, met cool people, kids thought I was "teh God". Good times. I'm on Facebook most of the time for those who are new to my flist so go ahead and add me if you wish.

A couple of people on my flist has mentioned this indie game and it struck my interest because of the youtube clips they showed. I was too lazy to play the game so I just watched the entire walkthrough. The ending is depressing as all hell but supposedly this was inspired by an event that happened in the creator's life.

That being said: I think it's kind of...wrong to like cosplay this story. That's how I feel though some might argue that this is a celebration of a wonderful person. I might be looking at this too seriously but whatevs.

I haven't had a game that made me think this much about existentialism and hyper reality. GOOD JOB GAME!
